The surprise event comes a day before the newly-announced Yeezy Season 8 show
Late last night (February 29), Kanye West announced a surprise edition of his Sunday Service, which took place this morning in Paris. The announcement was also accompanied by invitations to a Yeezy Season 8 show at Paris Fashion Week on Monday night (March 2).
As for the Sunday Service, things pretty much went down as usual, with Kanye largely taking a backseat and bopping along to the gospel choir’s music (although he did contribute a few vocals to the reworking of “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1”).
The rapper/designer also wore the now-familiar all-beige attire of the Sunday Service choir, which performed at the Bouffes du Nord theatre.
Also in attendance were Jacquemus, Michele Lamy – not wearing Rick Owens’ head, though – and Haider Ackermann, while Dazed 100 playwright Jeremy O. Harris could be spotted dancing with the choir in the front row.
