The French artiste’s first extended solo release since 2018’s wonderful Chris, the La vita nuova EP sees Chris sing in both English and French across its six tracks, while guest singer Caroline Polachek keeps things bilingual with an operatic Italian turn. Turning the EP into even more of an event, Chris also dropped an extended music video/short film to coincide with its release – shot at Paris’s Palais Garnier by Colin Solal Cardo, with choreography from Ryan Heffington – in which, among other things, she drinks Polachek’s blood. Tasty! Elsewhere this week, Princess Nokia returned with not one, but two new albums, while Soccer Mommy came back with a ripping new album. Take a listen below.
