Cook. The song originally appeared in the 2018 black-comedy action film Assassination Nation, but has been released officially today. Genesis also opened for Charli on her North American tour of her latest album, while Genesis’ self-titled debut album was released last December. Back in August, Tommy told NME that a song and video similar to “100 Bad” was in the works, saying: “We got this one song that’s like ‘100 Bad’, but on steroids. I cannot wait to shoot the video for it. It’s going to be wild.” Presumably, the rapper was talking about “Bricks”, and if so, does this mean there’s a video on the horizon, too? Charli XCX previously released the music videos featuring collaborations with Sky Ferreira, HAIM, Troye Sivan, and more. Last month, the pop star debuted the Netflix documentary I’m With the Band, following her formation of the band Nasty Cherry. Listen to “Bricks” below. Escape the algorithm!
