FKA twigs, Lil Nas X, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey, and more are all up for prizes – check out the full list of nominees
The nominations for the 2020 Grammy Awards are here.
Revealed today by president/CEO Deborah Dugan and Academy Chair of the Board of Trustees Harvey Mason Jr., alongside Alicia Keys and Bebe Rexha, the nominees include FKA twigs, Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey, Thom Yorke, The 1975, and more.
Beneath the big names, there are a few interesting surprises in the list (Soulwax get a nod for their great remix of Marie Davidson’s “Work It”), and there are also some unsurprising but still disappointing nominations (Chris Brown, Aziz Ansari). At the end of the day, though, this is the Grammys we’re talking about – you know exactly what you’re getting.
The awards ceremony takes place January 26 at the Staples Center, Los Angeles.
Check out the full list below, after the announcement video.
