Prince’s “I Feel For You” – or rather, an early, acoustic version of the track – has been unearthed by the Prince Estate, posted to YouTube October 17.

Given that the iconic song from Prince’s self-titled second album and Chaka Khan’s 1984 cover are so synth-heavy, it’s a novelty to hear it in its stripped-back form, with Prince’s voice accompanied by just a single, percussive acoustic guitar.

Earlier this month, Prince’s estate also publicly complained about the singer’s music being used at a Trump rally (this is after making a similar complaint around a year ago, and securing a promise that Trump’s team wouldn’t use the music again).
