Reporters told Cardi of her nominations as she exited an NYC courthouse, where she’d been attending a court date for her alleged involvement in a fight at New York’s Angels Strip Club (she turned herself over to police in October). In response, she could only shout back at the paparazzi as she was whisked away by security, and – in the caption to a video later posted on her Twitter – she wrote: “I need a do over”. Invasion of Privacy has earned Cardi B nominations in the Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Album categories. The fifth comes from her feature on Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You”, which is up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
