But by the end of the night things had taken a turn for the worse. TMZ report that Cardi B ended up lunging towards Nicki Minaj’s table at the Plaza Hotel – where the event was hosted – before being stopped by security. Then, undeterred, TMZ say she removed her shoe and launched it at Minaj, but missed. Cardi B was kicked out of the event by security. And why would she throw her shoe at Minaj? Well, the two have had issues in the past, but apparently the last straw was when Nicki talked about her daughter. “I’ve let a lot of shit slide!” Cardi B wrote in an Instagram post later in the night. “But when you mention my child… is when all bets are fuckin off!!” This being 2018 and all, bystanders caught some (not very enlightening) footage, which they shared across social media.
