The colourful, dramatic clip insists you drop your rubbish, roll on the floor and play dead should you encounter the bug. Illustrated by Kirsty White, the story was written by Micachu (English singer and songwriter Mica Levi) for Waxploitation’s Stories for Ways And Means project; a book of children’s stories for grown-ups, to benefit children’s education charities. Alongside Peckham boy Archy Marshall, the project also features original stories from Joey Bada$$, The Kills’ Allison Mosshart, Nick Cave and Justin Vernon (Bon Iver). The book is intended as a homage to children's stories, but not intended for children themselves. The proceeds from the project goes to Room To Read, Pencils Of Promise and 826 National as well other non-profit organisations. Marshall recently premiered a new tune while performing at Beach Goth Festival, a track that could feature on his highly-anticipated second album. Earl Sweatshirt also dropped the track “Death Whistles” produced under Marshall’s Edgar the Beatmaker alias. You can watch the short below, and find out more about the project here.
