But now is the time for Sampha to make his hotly-anticipated solo strike out. Having already released the triumphant “Timmy’s Prayer”, now he’s dropped “Blood On Me”, the second track from his debut record Process, due out early next year. It bears all the hallmarks of Sampha’s idiosyncratic songwriting – dextrous, dramatic chord movements and a rousing vocal complete with paranoid, yet somehow defiant lyrics.
