Rising MC Lady Leshurr shares a playlist of songs that put her in a fighting moodShareLink copied ✔️August 1, 2016MusicPlaylistTextDazed DigitalPhotographyNadine IjewereIn Partnership with Ray-Ban This year Ray-Ban have been championing courage in all its forms, celebrating the little changes that can improve our quality of life, whether that’s taking the steps to make a fresh start, or having the bravery to face up to your critics. Last week we spoke to up-and-coming MC Lady Leshurr, one of the brightest and boldest new talents in the UK grime scene, about squaring up to her detractors. She told us how her viral Queen’s Speech series showed the male-dominated grime scene what’s what, how she embraced her Birmingham accent when everyone around her was saying London was the true place for grime, and how she overcame her early shyness with humour. As part of the Ray-Ban #ittakescourage campaign, Leshurr has picked out the songs that put her in a fighting mood. From Eminen’s declaration of intent “My Name Is” to Desiigner’s show-stealing “Panda”, these are the songs that’ll help you see down the critics. Listen to the playlist below or on YouTube.
