In a performance just released online, he dropped new tracks under his other more hip-hop inclined signature Edgar the Breathtaker. It’s 20 minutes of unreleased music, which he refers to as “some new electronic garbage I made”. Marshall performs the lo-fi, moody hip-hop set under the moniker Edgar the Breathtaker, tweaking a previous project’s name, Edgar the Beatmaker. We knew already he wasn’t afraid to branch out creatively: he collaborated with his brother to produce a multi-disciplinary art exhibition, A New Place 2 Down, last December, alongside a short film and poetry book.
