After 12 years of friendship living across New York, Berlin and touring Japan together, two of electronic music's most prolific producers Jimmy Edgar and Machinedrum (aka Travis Stewart, one half of NY-based Sepalcure) finally joined musical forces for their collaborative project JETS. Recently releasing their debut EP on Leisure System, the self-titled four-tracker was an aptly eccentric and groove-filled venture, combining Machinedrum's stuttered percussion and infectious beat-skipping rhythms with Edgar's patented R&B-influenced electro-funk.
