Bringing together a host of Ryan Murphy’s past collaborators — including Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Finn Wittrock, and Lily Rabe — it also offers a look at newcomer to the series Macaulay Culkin. Following a series of otherworldly teasers, the full preview only covers the first half of series 10, which is split into two parts (the clue’s in the name). Titled Red Tide, the former revolves around sea monsters, while the latter, Death Valley, will deal with aliens. As teased in the trailer, Red Tide follows struggling writer Harry Gardener (Wittrock), who moves to a seaside town with his pregnant wife (Rabe), to work on a new book. As the move seems to help him break through his writer’s block, however, the family is terrorised by mysterious forces, while characters played by Peters and Frances Conroy end up holding Gardener at gunpoint. Altogether, it’s giving some serious mother! vibes. American Horror Story season 10 is also set to feature appearances from fresh cast members Paris Jackson and Kaia Gerber, who joined the “AHS family” earlier this year. Both also star in Murphy’s new anthology horror series American Horror Stories, which breaks down “horror myths, legends, and lore” in 16 distinct, hour-long episodes. If the growing list of American Horror Story-adjacent projects wasn’t already enough, Ryan Murphy has recently unveiled anther two spin-off series’. As reported by The Wrap, American Love Story will follow “true love stories that captured the world’s attention”, beginning with the romance and marriage of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette. American Sports Story, meanwhile, is a scripted anthology series that focuses on a prominent sporting event, beginning with the rise and fall of late NFL superstar Aaron Hernandez. American Crime Story is also still ongoing, with a series focusing on the legendary Studio 54 currently in development. Watch the trailer for American Horror Story season 10 below.
