In the second standalone episode, it’s the turn of Hunter Schafer’s Jules. A new trailer for the forthcoming special, “Fuck Anyone Who’s Not A Sea Blob”, shows Jules reflecting on the (obviously terrible) year gone by, over the 2020 Christmas holiday. “Rue was the first girl that didn’t just look at me,” she narrates. “She actually saw me. The me that’s underneath a million layers of not-me.” Co-written by Schafer and Euphoria creator Sam Levinson, the episode will premiere early (January 22) on HBO Max, and air on HBO January 24. As teased in the trailer, it’s also set to include a new collaboration from Billie Eilish and Rosalía, titled “Lo Vas A Olvidar”. The song itself will premiere on Thursday, January 21. Sam Levinson has also been working on Malcolm & Marie, a moody romance that stars Zendaya and John David Washington, as a filmmaker and his girlfriend whose relationship unravels over the course of an evening, while they await the reviews of his new film. The film will premiere on Netflix February 5.
