As Variety reports, HBO has picked up Euphoria, an adaption of an Israeli series, that credits Drake as an executive producer. You’d think that after an absolutely mammoth 25-song album that Drake would want a break, but instead he’s diving into unfamiliar territory, as this will be the first TV producing credit for Drake and his DJ and manager Future the Prince. The coming-of-age drama follows teens as they navigate issues like sex, drugs and social media. Ex-Disney star Zendaya will star in the show as the lead, playing a character named Rue. HBO’s Drama Senior Vice President Francesca Orsi described the series as “Kids meets Trainspotting”.
