For those that are yet to discover the exhibition (or if you haven’t yet read our Paris exhibitions guide), it includes a reimagining of the LA bedroom that he shared with wife Michèle Lamy, plus a lifesize statue of him pissing. Whilst at the exhibition’s opening party, he also revealed to the press that he has recently started his own OnlyFans account. Clearly, there’s not much left to hide once everyone’s seen you having a wazz. Apparently, the designer was inspired by the 19th-century Italian aristocrat, the Countess of Castiglione, who commissioned hundreds of photos of herself throughout her life, until she felt that age had got the better of her. As a result, she shut herself in a mirror-less apartment and only took pictures of her feet from then on. This tale obviously struck a chord with Owens, who sees it as an interesting take on ageing – thus, quite literally, following in the Countess’ footsteps. It might be the strangest story to come out of Paris fashion week so far, but there’s certainly been a lot going on. Yesterday, Anna Wintour stepped down as editor-in-chief of Vogue, today, Jonathan Anderson made his Dior debut, and Demna admitted to being a Balenciaga reject before he became the boss. Here’s everything you need to catch up on. 1/8 You may like next 1/8 1/8 V&A DundeeV&A DUNDEE OPENS PALESTINIAN CRAFT EXHIBIT Open now, the V&A Dundee’s latest exhibition is a celebration of Palestinian dress history and the ancient practice of hand-embroidery.
