Launched by Dania Arafeh 2023, its goal is to elevate the SWANA fashion industry while encouraging the authentic expression of cultural identity. The platform made its London Fashion Week debut in 2023, launched a pop-up last year, and is now taking over the Southbank Centre. From May 23-25, 3EIB will host a three-day programme spotlighting 30 independent labels including Palestinian brands such as Trashy Clothing and Nöl Collective, as well as Creative Space Beirut. For most of the brands involved, the event will mark their London debut. What’s more, as part of the Southbank Centre takeover, 3EIB will host an alternative fashion show celebrating a range of artists and activists such as Eid Yara, Mona Chalabi and Marwan Kaabour.
