A popular solution for meeting new people while staying active has been the rise of run clubs. While running in big groups is not a new idea, these days more and more run clubs seem to be popping up with different themes (some dating, some to make friends) but all with the same idea, a place to come together and form community. Last Sunday, Dazed partnered with the London and Los Angeles-based collective GorpGirls and French shoewear brand HOKA for the ultimate group running experience. Inviting 30 members of the Dazed Club community, they started off at the HOKA Run Stop Corner Shop in London before running and eventually returning to the store. Below we broke down everything that took place on the day. During the run, the Dazed Clubbers mingled amongst themselves and got to know each other. BEFORE THEY SET OFF HOKA HELPED PREP THEM Photography Macy Kerrigan As most runners know, you are only as good as your running shoes. Helping each person get to their optimum, HOKA provided everyone with test shoes to run. Some lucky runners got to experience the brand new Bondi 9 shoe, which the pop-up itself celebrates. THERE IS STILL A CHANCE TO GET INVOLVED Photography Macy Kerrigan The HOKA corner store pop-up is still open for a few weeks.
