It’s been a long year. Can you believe it’s been just 12 months since M3GAN and a wanking walrus ushered in 2023? 11 months since Beyoncé announced her Renaissance world tour? That it was only this summer that Doja Cat finally came out as a Satanist, and that policeman took a tumble down a children’s slide? That Suella Braverman stamped on that poor dog’s tail in October – it feels like a lifetime ago! In January, we were all just innocent babygirls, and now we come to you aged, jaded, and frankly in need of a little lie-down.

There are some upsides to the relentless passage of time, though.
