Taking over Matches’ first floor, the installation features Loewe’s SS23 collection – which saw the flowers tucked into waistbands, tops, bags, and heels. Meanwhile, the café will focus on showcasing the collection’s eclectic shoe offering – which spanned from fur-covered heels to balloon-collaged wedges, and blown-up Barbie heels – all available from Matches. Sit among the anthuriums to enjoy brunch or afternoon tea from a bespoke menu by chef Imogen Kwok – the café is open to the public until April 15, from 10am to 6pm at 5 Carlos Place, London. However, you can visit the installation until May 13. In other news this week, the Kardashians are officially entering their British hun era (live, laugh, love!) and Dazed’s fashion team smashed a bunch of Guinness World Records in an editorial for its Spring 2023 issue. Meanwhile, Mary Quant – the revolutionary designer who liberated womens legs via the mini-skirt – passed away at 93.
