Don’t answer, silly – it’s February and I’m in London. It’s fucking freezing, so of course it must be the sodden, sun-drenched shot. Fresh from his turn recalibrating The Macarena alongside a bunch of supermodels for Vogue, the musician has been revealed as the new face of sunny Simon’s Le Splash campaign. Slipping into a mint choc chip-hued suit, angel baby Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio is seen spraying himself down with a hose and looking actually pretty miserable? Big Monday mood etc. Shot by longtime Jacquemus collaborators Tom Kneller and Zoey Radford Scott (who were also behind those cute snogging pics for SS21) in Miami last month, further pics see him strip down to a pair of candyfloss cargo shorts and a pair of roller skates, as well as a grey suit he accessorises with a chopper and a baby baguette bag. The pièce de résistance, however, is the shot of Bunny in a baby pink mini-dress, as matched with a sky blue mules and white sports socks – just like the modern day iteration of Brad Pitt in that infamous shoot. Just a really gorj way to end the day all in all. Click through the gallery above to see for yourself.
