Landing in the city this week was Daniel Lee, who decided to drop his latest collection for Bottega Veneta – Salon 2 – in the club’s colossal concrete halls. Although there’s no sign of what the clothes actually look like just yet – there was almost three months between Salon 1’s uber-exclusive Sadler’s Wells show and the moment us mere mortals finally got to see the offering – in the meantime, the label has allowed us a sneak peek at the lucky few who did actually get a look at the garms. This time around, Bottega stan Skepta joined the likes of slowthai, Burna Boy, and Tricky on the guestlist, while Honey Dijon, Stefano Pilati of Random Identities, and 032c crew Marc Goehring, Maria Koch, and husband Joerg made up the Berlin contingency. Rounding things off was legendary bouncer Sven Marquardt, who can (now only occasionally) be found dishing out ‘neins’ at the front of the Berghain queue – given its doors remain firmly shut, it seems likely he’s got a bit of time on his hands right now. For now, check out the exclusive line-up in the gallery above, and stay tuned for a glimpse of the full collection. Take a look at Bottega Veneta’s new digital journal below.
