Even now, 23 years after its initial release, our obsession with the style runs deep, with a whole new generation of fashion fans scouring Depop for vntage iterations of the bonafide Fendi classic. In celebration of the bag's ascension to icon status, last year the label launched a new series called #BaguetteFriendsForever, which sees a host of newly introduced friends bond over the bag. In the latest episode, which lands today, actor Tommy Dorfman and comedian Naomi Watanabe get ready for the SS20 womenswear show in Milan – where they meet for the first time and strike up conversation thanks to their respective Baguettes. Describing Fendi as “effortlessly chic”, Dorfman explains that to him friendship is about “being there for someone, through good times and bad. It means supporting and loving someone unconditionally.” For Watanabe, working with her one of her favourite brands was the coolest aspect. “The Fendi show was amazing,” she said. “It was great meeting Tommy he is such a lovely and inspiring person!” Watch the video below.
