@vetementsFashion / NewsFashion / NewsVetements is dropping a Star Wars collection and Baby Yoda is shakingA new limited edition line is set to land in Moscow next weekShareLink copied ✔️December 10, 2019December 10, 2019Text Emma Elizabeth Davidson News just in: Star Wars is so hot right now. Just last week we took a deep dive into whether OG green cosy boi Baby Yoda was a die-hard Margiela fan (evidence: inconclusive), and now Vetements has revealed it is dropping a new, limited edition Star Wars capsule collection. Set to make its debut at Moscow’s TSUM store on Thursday, the offering is made up of a selection of the hyped brand’s most iconic pieces, with logo tees, oversized hoodies, socks, caps, and backpacks all on the line-up. But it doesn’t end there: evening dresses and high heels are also set to be given a Star Wars twist, though it’s yet to be revealed what they actually look like. Since landing on the fashion scene back in 2014, Demna Gvasalia’s subversive label has become known for making the undesirable unfathomably cool – just take its ubiquitous DHL t-shirt for example – and seemingly, it’s now intent on turning things around for maligned Star Wars fans around the world. That is, if they manage to get their hands on any of the merch before the hypebeasts inevitably do. May the force be with them etc. The collection will be available from TSUM on December 12 and retailers including SSENSE soon after. Escape the algorithm!
