The trio of designers were included in this season’s line-up at the British Fashion Council’s London Showrooms

Last year marked the 10 year anniversary of the British Fashion Council’s launch of its London Showrooms – an initiative set up to allow emerging talent to promote themselves and their brands out of their usual realms in London. This time around, for its 11th edition, the BFC opened the pop-up showroom in Paris to 13 designers, with Charles Jeffrey, Phoebe EnglishPer Gӧtesson, and Blindness among them.

Elsewhere, Bianca Saunders, Robyn Lynch, and Mowalola Ogunlesi also made appearances. Making their debuts at Fashion East for SS19, both Robyn Lynch and Mowalola used their heritage as key inspiration for their collections. While Lynch’s collection featured primarily monochromatic looks inspired by her Irish roots, Mowalola created a series of vibrant, sexy pieces which drew on Nigerian aesthetics. Bianca Saunders put together her second presentation in support of an offering that challenged and explored masculinity for black men.

To take us behind-the-scenes, we sent the three up-and-coming creatives a polaroid camera to show us their work: take a look at the resulting images in the gallery above.
