There was the cat that took over the runway of a Turkish fashion show, and don’t forget Grace Coddington’s cat-themed Louis Vuitton collaboration, which first debuted at the Parisian house’s Cruise 2019 show in May. To celebrate the pre-release of the collection – which officially drops on November 2 – Vuitton has opened a pop-up store at Selfridges and it’s basically a kitty haven. Inspired by her love of cats (Coddington owns two, named Pumpkin and Blanket) the stylist’s illustrations cover silk pyjamas, bags, and boots, alongside the house’s iconic monogram. Don’t fret though dog lovers: Nicolas Ghesquière’s dog Léon is also featured in the collection too. The pop-up space in Selfridges features a giant cat-shaped arch drawn by Coddington and will feature pieces that aren’t available elsewhere. What are you waiting for? The Louis Vuitton x Grace Coddington pop-up is open now at Selfridges until January 16 2019.
