Not only was she revealed as one the faces of the recent Moschino x H&M campaign, but now it has been announced that the American drag queen has joined Team Dazed, as Dazed Beauty’s new Entertainment Editor, and signed up with international modelling and talent agency IMG. “Linking up with IMG has given me an opportunity to expand my career and my name into all sorts of different markets and career avenues,” she told WWD. Aquaria is also working on an editorial strategy for Dazed Beauty’s readers, having spent the last six months touring the world. “I’ve seen tons of different performers in tons of different cities and I think at this point, I need to reflect on what entertainment I’ve seen over the past year that has had an impact on me,” she told the publication. “What social movements have I witnessed that I think could use more traction and publicity? I know in the past publications and writers have given me that same love. So I want to share that with other people.” Aquaria is the latest addition to Dazed Beauty’s growing list of contributing editors, with the line-up already including CGI influencer Lil Miquela and trans model and activist Munroe Bergdorf as Arts and LGBTQ+ editors respectively. Stay tuned and head to Dazed Beauty to see what they have been working on over the course of the last few months.
