Named the ‘Track’, the new sneaker – which could easily be considered the younger sibling to its ugly older brother – takes inspiration from hiking and running styles and incorporates high tech materials to enhance performance. That’s all well and good, but before you head online to get your hands on the new style, you’ll have to book an appointment as it’s only available in-store at Selfridge’s. From today until September 3, head to the specially dedicated site to reserve a pair, and then book a time slot to collect once they launch at the store’s Corner Shop. Along with the new sneaker, the Selfridges takeover will include an installation and artworks by artist Mark Jenkins. Balenciaga’s Selfridges Corner Shop takeover will run from September 3-23.
