Pretty much since she was born, she’s been wearing the likes of Vetements, Givenchy, and, of course, Yeezy. She modelled in her first shoot at just 13 months old, and even had a tantrum on the front row at an Alexander Wang show next to Anna Wintour. Now, at the tender age of five, West is starring in her first fashion campaign. Following in the footsteps of her aunt Kendall Jenner – who has appeared in several of the Italian brand’s ads – she features alongside mother Kim and grandmother Kris to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the house’s Peekaboo bag. The candid photo shows the trio hanging out in a grassy meadow in Malibu, each with their own Peekaboo bag – North with an on-trend tiny version. Focussing on the idea of family, the first instalment of the campaign (called #MeAndMyPeekaboo) saw creative director Silvia Venturini Fendi appear with daughters Delfina Delettrez Fendi and Leonetta Luciano Fendi. “The idea was to expand the concept of family, as it’s part of our history,” Venturini told WWD. “In the case of the Kardashians, they are all three of them very strong women, with strong personalities.” With a major campaign under her belt so early, this surely won’t be the last you’ll see of North on the fashion scene. Next, her first runway appearance. Sissy that walk, sis! Escape the algorithm! Get The DropEmail address SIGN UP Get must-see stories direct to your inbox every weekday. Privacy policy Thank you.
