As if being Kanye's kid wasn't cool enough, North West, the baby daughter of the rap mogul and Kim Kardashian, has made her modelling debut at the tender age of 13 months. She's been photographed wearing Chanel for the fifth issue of the CR fashion book, the magazine founded by Carine Roitfeld, who is the former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris.

In the photograph, North is wearing various Chanel garments, the best being the brand's legendary 2.55 bag. What the hell does North West keep in her handbag? Baby North is also sporting a delicately placed, signature Coco Chanel flower. Chic.

Alongside the image is a caption from Chanel's creative director and enfant terrible Karl Lagerfeld that reads: "It’s never too early to care about fashion.” Quite.

The shot was taken by Michael Avedon, grandson of Richard Avedon, the esteemed fashion photographer who died in 2004. Avedon shot Sean Nicholas Savage for Dazed back in March and also worked extensively on our States of Independence issue. Look out for more collaborations between Avedon and Dazed in the future.

While North was photographed with Kanye and Kim in Vogue earlier in 2014, this is her first time going it alone.
