From announcing its continued collab with the Andy Warhol Foundation, to tapping some of music’s biggest names for the new underwear campaign, the Belgian designer is keeping busy ahead of the AW18 show that will take place at NYFW in February. Following the first instalment of the “Our Family” campaign, which saw the likes of Solange, Kelela and Dev Hynes rocking double-denim in a barn, the next chapter is here. Once again shot by Willy Vanderperre, it’s hip hop collective A$AP Mob’s turn to step into the CK barn. Unsurprisingly, as A$AP Rocky is one of Simons biggest fans. Evolving the brand’s global #mycalvins call to action, the Mob – featuring A$AP – Rocky, Ferg, Nast, Twelvyy, Ant, Lou and J. Scott – front the new denim campaign as a musical family. Comprising group images along with a short film, the campaign continues its American theme, with family and community at the centre. Talking over each other, laughing and dancing, the Mob play on the campaign’s title, updating the name to “Our Crew”. Bringing together diverse groups across music, style and culture, more campaigns are yet to emerge as part of the family-centric series until Spring 2018. Watch A$AP Mob’s campaign film below.
