Shot by renowned fashion photographer Steven Meisel once more, these new visuals see the Coach gang – including models such as Lexi Boling and Cara Taylor – take a day trip just outside the city the brand calls home. Set against New York skyline, the models showcase outfits from Stuart Vevers’ Elvis-inspired SS17 collection, which the designer described as “southern rose with a homespun feel”. Staged as part of New York Fashion Week, the SS17 show had a distinctly rock‘n’roll feel to it – in fact Elvis’s granddaughter, actress Riley Keough, was present, along with current Dazed cover girl Millie Bobby Brown and 90s icon and Stranger Things co-star, Winona Ryder. The campaign itself is a celebration of NYC, and of what it embodies according to Vevers: “the American spirit, independent thought and diversity – always tied to our home city, the melting pot of New York.” All this is a part of his bigger-picture counter-cultural vision for the heritage brand he’s transformed in three short years.
