Earlier this year, the New York brand transformed a gay Parisian sauna into what felt like a hedonistic haunted house – models staggered around winding corridors and lunged from dark corners, before ending up downstairs in the pool (fully clothed) in a Dionysian celebration. Last week, another batch of models took a dive, this time in Miami Beach and led by designer Shayne Oliver. HBA was in town for Art Basel to put on a presentation staged by MoMA PS1, feauturing clothes from their recent collections and the just-announced capsule which stars the photography of Pieter Hugo. As well as the street cast gang of models in school skirts and PVC, Princess Nokia and Ian Isiah performed, while Grace Dunham got on the mic for some spoken word. Yulya Shadrinsky was there to capture the action backstage – check it out in the gallery above. @hoodbyair | @shadrinsky Hood By Air at Art Basel Miami Beach 2016Photography Yulya ShadrinskyEscape the algorithm!
