Appearing in Azzedine Alaïa, photographed by Alasdair McLellan and styled by Katy England, in the accompanying story Cambell speaks to AnOther about her enduring relationship with the designer – who she dubs “Papa”. She lets us in on her mischevious days as a 16-year-old model living under Alaïa's roof in Paris, sneaking out to dance with Grace Jones (before he would come and take her home). Also featured in the issue is a profile on the designer by Susannah Frankel – an exploration of his life, work, and the women who have inspired him. To celebrate the cover, Campbell sat down in front of the camera to spill on what drives her work, and which other very famous face she’d like to be stranded on a desert island with.
