Staged as part of Paris Couture Week, the brand took over Hotel de la Paiva on the Champs-Elysees with a DJ set from Kate Moss, the screening of its AW16 ad campaign and Women’s Tales short films, and a closer look at its Cruise collection. This season, Miuccia Prada said she was looking to “90s rave culture” and you could see the influence of the British music scene in the embellishment and print, the board shorts and bucket hats, the crop tops and colourful jewellery. For the lookbook, which can be seen in the gallery above, renowned stylist and LOVE magazine editor-in-chief Katie Grand enlisted a cast that included Jude Law’s daughter Iris, and new faces Dilia Martins, Faretta and Najiyah Imani. These models were present on the night, along with fellow model and Gurls Talk founder Adwoa Aboah, designer Marc Jacobs and Nymphomaniac actor Stacy Martin. As well as being showcased by the models and celebrities present at the event, the collection was displayed on a series of fibreglass mannequins specially created by designer and Dazed 100 star Matty Bovan. The night also marked the launch of Miu Miu’s Snapchat with Grand and Aboah giving a behind-the-scenes view of the party.
