But now they're getting one of their own, at this September’s New York Fashion Week. This is the brand’s first-ever runway show at NYFW and further signs of Vevers’ transformation of the brand – from a brand primarily known for its leather goods to a luxury fashion label. In February last year, Vevers unveiled his new vision and debut collection for the brand at NYFW but this took the form of a presentation, not a show. Three collections and several Steven Meisel shot campaigns later, Vevers’ vision is going from strength to strength. But what can we expect from this upcoming show? All-American biker vibes like last season? Or a continuation of the psychedlic surf feeling at the SS16 men’s show?
