The pair proved that the London shows were dripping with artistic links – drawing out the likes of Caravaggio in the drapery at Craig Green and Mondrian-style graphics at Liam Hodges. Milan has followed in a similar vein – with the oversized coats at Versace resembling the work of Picasso, and a reclining Bacon portrait appearing at Tod’s.
