The poeticism of the collection comes to life in My story, our story, a lyrical fashion film by Dazed contributor Pierre Debusschere and styled by fashion director Robbie Spencer. In the film, Katlin Aas, Max Esken, Dominik Sadoch and six other models meditate on the consequences of love and loss. “We took inspiration from the use of Dior’s letters by Kris Van Assche inside the collection – that idea of storytelling, the idea of something inner and personal. From there we focused on the idea of close relationships, human relations, from opposites outside and inside, alone together,” Debusschere told us. “A dialogue between the inner and the social, a romantic view on today’s needs.” “For me this is really one of Kris’s best collections at Dior, so I was very happy to work on it,” he added. “Maybe it's because of the references to Mr Dior’s letters and handwriting but there's also a lot of depth and different layers in this collection, which is amazing to build a film on.” Watch it below: Liked this?
