Fashion / NewsMarc by Marc Jacobs reveals second Instagram-cast campaignMeet the new SS15 stars of the #CastMeMarc competitionShareLink copied ✔️January 13, 2015FashionNewsText Zing Tsjeng Marc by Marc Jacobs SS15 After the first #CastMeMarc competition attracted 70,000 entries, who could blame Marc by Marc Jacobs for wanting to repeat its success? Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley turned to social media to find the new faces for its SS15 campaign, and the results are now in. Shot by David Sims and styled by Katie Grand, the 11 models are a mixed bag of newbies (in the best possible way, of course). There's Eun Bi (above), a bubblegum pink-haired fashion designer; Aaron Whitty, a graphic design nerd; Toks Adewetan, a Lagos-born, Brooklyn-based model slash photographer; there are people from Russia, Korea and all over America. It's a campaign that spans continents and blows raspberries at national barriers – not too dissimilar, in fact, to Hillier and Bartley's roaring, no-holds-barred vision of MBMJ. Click through the gallery above for the full campaign. Read our interview with Luella Bartley and Katie Hillier from the Autumn/Winter 2014 issue of Dazed here. Escape the algorithm!
