Fashion / Fashion FilmInside the riotous world of Meadham KirchhoffAn exclusive new film by Sharna Osborne documents the process behind the duo's SS15 show – from street casting to their 'Reject Everything' manifestoShareLink copied ✔️September 19, 2014FashionFashion FilmFilmSharna Osborne Raw, authentic, and anti-establishment: SS15 saw Meadham Kirchhoff send street-cast models down a runway complete with a bloodied tampon tree. A riot grrrl inspired zine and hand-illustrated name cards from Edward Meadham awaited guests at their seats, whilst backstage he declared: "We live in this disgusting culture where freedom is this myth that everybody sort of believes in. There’s no equality. Women still don’t have full equal rights. Homosexuals still don’t have full equal rights. I have people shout at me every single place I go. It’s apparently fine for people to bother women, to rape women, to bother homosexuals and I’m sick of it really.” To mark such a significant collection for the design duo, we invited filmmaker Sharna Osborne to capture the show process in an exclusive film.
