Coach SS15

Initial reaction:

Retro vibes that recalled images of groupie girls from the 60s and 70s waiting outside gigs –thanks in part to the hazy sunset background.

Old school girl gang:

For Stuart Vevers’ second runway for Coach, the ex-Mulberry and Loewe designer presented gig-going all-American girls in cotton candy coloured furs, super fun illustrated t-shirts and clog-loafer hybrids. All the models of the season were in his gang, including Dazed States of Independence cover girls Natalie Westling and Binx Walton. 

How they wore it:

Models looked out from side-swept hair, with metallic mini bags worn across the body. Pearl choker necklaces and foam platform mules that were part slider, part Birkenstock had these modern groupies concert ready.
