Hot off the heels of their London Collections: Men SS15 presentation – which saw a school sports team escape to the country – the London-based English/Dutch menswear duo Baartmans and Siegel are collaborating with River Island on a 12 piece capsule collection. As part of the British Fashion Council's Fashion Film initiative, which has seen the high street staple collaborate with Christopher Raeburn and Nicholas Kirkwood, the collection is being debuted in the form of a short film directed by Ryan Hopkinson. First premiered at LC:M, the neo-noir flick features models driving through a dark skied, almost dystopian landscape – a reminder to enjoy the sun while it lasts?
