Collaboration: Teaming up with eyewear label Fanoptics, Baartmans and Siegel created two designs for this SS15 in both optical and sunglass form. Keeping it on the homefront, the designs were handcrafted in England in marble compressed fibers. Alongside this, the designers also paired with accessories brand Kickers to create the season's boots in moss green, midnight blue and stark white. Inspiration:“We always have a really cinematic male protagonist when we look at each season, opposed to a general abstract concept. This season, we were wanting to look at these clusters of male focused energy in a kind of, army or a league way – those types of unions, and we were looking at films like Platoon, a bit of Charlie Sheen – but more of a utility, sports, summer offering” – Amber Siegel. Last season, the duo's spring offerings explored core masculine shapes against a tropical tableaux backdrop.
