Last season, the duo did a snow globe-y see-through plastic puffer bomber filled with feather down, and this season, Wouter Baartmans and Amber Siegel continued their pursuit of seductive and refined fabrication with perforated suede, waffle knit wools and brushed silks. “For us, it’s always about the texture and the playfulness, but also about a silhouette that makes you feel confident,” Amber Siegel told us. “We wanted to really look at core masculine shapes that are approachable and familiar.” Navy blue hybrid bombers and elegantly casual black silhouettes in contrasting textures were presented on a tropical tableaux backdrop, a theme that was echoed in palm tree embroidery details and jungle-like suiting with Bakelite buttons.
