Hailing from Worms, near Frankfurt, Ruegger recounts his first memory of discovering that Santa Claus wasn’t real, as well as almost drowning in a lake. Fortunately, New York has brought fonder memories, “My last kiss was two days ago,” laughs Ruegger. During the SS14 Menswear shows, Ruegger dominated with appearances for Kenzo, Louis Vuitton and Jil Sander, amongst others. Most recently he co-stared with fellow newcomer Abel van Oeveren in ‘Viddy Well,’ where the pair were styled by Elizabeth Fraser-Bell for the October issue of Dazed & Confused.
