Fast forward to SS14 and Daiane walked her twelfth Miu Miu show along with Hermes, Dior and Prada, to name but a few. On a damp, typically grey London day Elite London model Daiane revealed a different side to her portrayal of a modern geisha in our February 2011 issue, shot by Ben Toms and styled by Robbie Spencer. Wrapped up in dark fur, Daiane’s loose hair and fresh face flirt with the camera as she discusses how loosing her suitcase between Paris and Brazil left her wearing the same clothes for two weeks, an experience she describes as "awful." Steering not too far away from our current Dark Arts issue Daiaine also reveals a desire to write novels based around “really serious things like murders and weird situations.” Daiane Conterato for Dazed & Confused February 2011, photography by Ben Toms, styling by Robbie Spencer, hair and makeup by Katsuya KamoSleeveless jacket and skirt by KENZO; jacket worn underneath by VIVIENNE WESTWOOD RED LABEL; skirt worn underneath by LANVIN; necklace from PEBBLE LONDON; belt by ALEXANDER MCQUEEN; quilted fabric custom made for DAZED & CONFUSED by JW ANDERSONDiane Conterato.
