The clothes were inspired by racing culture, and as they are, all of the looks seem primed for hopping onto a motorcycle (please note we didn't say "the back of a motorcycle" – these girls know how to drive!). Before the start of the show, attendants walked around the concrete runway with watering cans, wetting it so it looked fresh with oil slick. If you're on a bike in the autumn, obviously a coat is key: trompe l'oeil tile overcoats, leather vests with moto zips, and neoprene parkas stole the show. A close second were the over-the-knee boots, which – a real rarity at fashion shows – actually looked quite fun to walk in. Of course, not even badass biker chicks roll without a helmet, so models' tresses were tousled into an elegant version of "helmet hair". Don't bother combing it out when you step off your Harley: come as you are. www.31philliplim.com Hair: Paul Hanlon Makeup: Francelle Daly Models pictured: Hanne Gaby Odiele (@hannegabysays), Iris van Berne (@irisvberne), Tilda Lindstam (@tildalindstam), Katlin Aas (@AasKatlin), Nasty Kusakina (@Kusakina_Nastya), Yumi Lambert (@YlaUrMal), Milana Kruz (@milana_kruz), Marine de Leeuw (@DeleeuwMarine), Herieth Paul (@HeriethPaul), Franzi Mueller (@FranziMueller), Maya Salamon (@mayarockedhouse) Escape the algorithm!
