VENUE OF THE DAY:
Incredible Cavalli gentleman's club, which was once the Gucci family's apartment. It had an incredible view of the Duomo. The Cavalli family spent 6 weeks refitting the apartment which was just a shell before. Total bohemian dream, we literally had to be pulled out of there, didn't want to leave. Daniele's latest collection, full of couture beading was great too, perfect partners.

WORDS OVERHEARD OF THE DAY:
"They've designed it the wrong way round, no one cares what you look like on the way out", about knitwear that was plain in front and printed silk on the back.

SOUNDTRACK OF THE DAY:
Soundtrack for a 70s opium den at Cavalli, selected by a DJ so louche he was sitting down. So good.
