'Apocalypse Now' is not an obvious starting point for a Pucci collection. But then the red carpet is a brutal place, so reactively Peter Dundas is making sure his girls are well-armed. In the grand, gilded setting of the Palazzo Serbelloni, the Norwegian designer explored a delicate, white beaded story before Cara Delevingne entered, as look No 14, in a belted, printed utility shirt. A jungle theme of khaki cropped kimonos and silk bomber jackets with worked embroideries continued, culminating in a jet black series of dragon-motif silks. Dragons also formed the intricate carved platform of the fierce wedge shoes.
