As per usual - for both the season and Giorgio himself - this was a dark and sombre affair. Grey, black and blue dominated the colour palette - although there were signs of light brightness in a few red and blue patterned jackets and knits. These pieces almost brought down the house as people clapped away even more intensely... a sign that just a bit of colour can take you a long way! The Armani silhouette focused on three elements; loose and comfy pleated trousers, cropped suit jackets oversized coats, most of them in thick wool, others in fur. Velvet - either black or brown - featured as a guest performer amongst the other wintry fabrics. But it was the surprise addition of accompanying female models that caught our eyes towards the end. In bright colourful red and pink creations, the ladies perfectly played the role of Armani arm candy!
